Jim had an ear for music as a child and started to enjoy the art of music as a teen.  His first DJing events were high school dances in the early 80s, while still in high school.  He began DJing weddings in the late 80s and playing at clubs and bars down the Jersey shore since the mid-90s.  Throughout his entire career, Jim has adapted a keen sense of what music individuals enjoy. 

 

Jim founded JTK Entertainment in 1985 and is celebrating providing over 30 years of excellent entertainment service, DJing over 2,000 events throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.  Trusted and talented.

 

Jim is a full-time DJ and loves what he does. Being full-time allows him to give his full attention and concentration to all his clients. He is a professional and will customize your event to give it that special unique touch to make it an unforgettable event. One of the most important attributes he has is that he pays attention to all the minor details and makes every effort to make your event perfect. Being full-time gives him the flexibility to be accessible to meet with you on your schedule where ever is the most convenient to his clients.

 

Also an enthusiastic MC, Jim motivates the dance-floor to your specific taste. Behind the scenes: reserves the event, sends out agreements, programming, lighting, special effects, video editing, and uses the latest software and hardware.  You can rely on Jim. He will show up between 2-3 hours before an event to set up and always carries backup equipment to guarantee your event goes flawless.
